About Emma McArthur

I see myself as a passionate, independent-minded citizen seeking transparency and accountability for government policy around the response to Covid-19. I’m calling for a return to long-established, international principles of public health, and an end to the ongoing suppression of human rights.

As a mother of three, I’m gravely concerned about the long-term impact of Covid-19 policies on the lives and futures of our children. I believe it’s imperative that we protect our children from coercive Covid-19 vaccination policies.

I have a background in radiography and following a career break to raise my family, I undertook a Master of Social Work.

As a result of my work with survivors of institutional childhood sexual abuse and with people experiencing chronic homelessness, I became aware of the mechanisms for institutional human rights abuse that are pervasive in modern democracies.

The tyrannical government response to Covid-19 has made these mechanisms clear for all to see. There has been a widespread erosion of human rights with people’s freedoms now conditional on taking an experimental medical product in the form of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Major international human rights instruments, such as the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, have essentially been rendered meaningless by the authoritarian approaches taken by supposedly democratic governments.

I believe we must reclaim our rights and hold governments to account for their actions.
